 Sorry, this server has some harddisks problems these days :-( I get DMA timeout and the kernel goes to panic when shutting down the server... I suspect a bad IDE cable or a controller failure. I just bought two new cables (I use a Linux software RAID with 2 Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9). My cheap racks are perhaps also responsible for these DMA timeouts. On the other hand, my disks seems to be ok (no bad blocks).
