Linux server I bought a new Promise Ultra133 TX2 controller for the server. The chipset driver is directly available in the Linux kernel (BLK_DEV_PDC202XX_NEW=y). My old Asus P2B-F had only an UDMA33 controller. I have 2 disks of 120 GB with software RAID.

I also upgraded to the latest Con Kolivas sources and played a bit with APIC kernel option. I hope the server will be fast and stable now.
